We have had several mediocre meals. Night one was at a Pub "The Kings Bridge" in Bourten on the water. It was pretty horrid - rated a 2. Vinnie had fish and chips, I had steak and Ale pie. The next day we stopped for lunch in Stow on the Wold and had a meal at "Kings Arms" - rated 5. The food was decent...a ploughmans and fish and chips.That evening was at the Plough in Ford - rated 6, steak and ale pie and pork tenderloin.
Day 3: Bourten in the water, Indian food at Saffrons - rated 6. Vinnie really liked his and ate tons of it. Mine was good, but I've had better. I still enjoyed it though.
Day 4: Dinner tonite was in Chipping Campden at the Eight Bells, very good. Rated - 7. Fish and chips and a pork faggot. Interesting...the port faggot was ground pork of sorts in a brown bacon gravy.
