The bowsprit of the Young Endeavour splits the wind as the anchor is stowed. The flag on the 'Jackstaff' fights to stand straight against the gusts.

The crew return to the ship after landing on Keswick Island. The lines appear tangled to the untrained eye, but each serve a unique and essential purpose.

Matt holds on tightly to the topgallant yard, preparing to release the gaskets (blue ties) so that the square sails may be set. The wind keeps his hood strings horizontal.
