The crew return to the ship after landing on Keswick Island. The lines appear tangled to the untrained eye, but each serve a unique and essential purpose.

Sunrise from the uppermost yard (topgallant) of the foremast. The sun soon hid behind the clouds, as if it couldn't adjust to its own brightness.

The bowsprit of the Young Endeavour splits the wind as the anchor is stowed. The flag on the 'Jackstaff' fights to stand straight against the gusts.
