About 1300 years ago this canal was located in the Shilla kings Pleasure garden. He and other poets would sit next to this while his servants would fill it with water and then float drinks around it. They would then pick their drinks out of the water at their own leisure.The people that we are doing Karoake with are people that we had met at the guesthouse we were staying at. The man's name is Andrew and he is from Maryland and lived in France. The woman's name is Seul-Ah and she is from Korea and lived in Maryland and France also.More to come in our next stories.
