Merry Christmas
We have just opened all our presents and had breakkie ... its about 10am and in an hour we are heading off to Christmas lunch at sophie’s mums house (the grandma) but I don’t think I can eat another thing lol im stillllllll a stuffed turkey from last night ...
Yest day we spent most of it lazing around ...
I read lolitta in front of the fire ... im almost finished now
I think I will start on crime and punishment next ... me and jack have a reading/coffee drinking day planned wen get back ... and all we are going to do is drnk lots of coffee and sit in big couches and read all day
We have a big christmas eve dinner with some of the cousins last night .. patrice’s brother came over with his wife and daughter ...
We ate wayyyyyyyyy to much:
champagne
advocado salad
little toasted bread things with salad stuff on them
big cheese salads with tomato
zuchinni and aubergines
the non vegetarians (everyone but me) ate ths cream and mushroom and chicken sausage thing ... they tried to convince me that t was vegetarian!!!!! I was svery very very doubtful and ddnt eat it ... is there such thng as a non vegetarian sausage that isn’t made by sanitarium!!! Mmmmmmmm no ... evil French family

lots of little tarts (pear, lemon, raspberry, hazelnut) – dad u will be proud .. I tried one of each haha .. lizi I ate a reaspberry one for u, but it was only safeway quality ,,, it wasn’t brioche doree quality (where u used to buy ures)
red wine
white wine (that didn’t taste like compost!! ... because some yuky white wines tastes like compost)
the carnivores ate fois gras
I think ive forgotten stuff but oh well that gives u a general idea ...
We talked a lot about france/aust and general stuff ... I thnk I talked aust up so much that tourism is going to increase ten fold next yr ... mr rudd should b employing me as his tourism minister haha (i don’t think that kind of minister even exists??)
So the difference between Australia and france ....
We decided that it was very much the culture/ art and history ... apart from france’s long history and art etc etc etc etc ... I thought that the dff bw aust and france was that Australia didn’t have set social rules or customs as such ... much more independence ... it isn’t strange to see people in pyjamas at safeway ... in france nooooo ... u act certain ways ... U EVEN EAT MEALS IN CERTAIN ORDERS!!!
And u cant snack because apparently t makes u fat ... I said, we snack because it keeps ur metabolism going ... but the French dismissed this ...
So anyways ... there will be lots of random French wandering Melbourne in a few months ...
Im curious as well as to what people DON’T like about Australia ... ??? because was trying to think what I didn’t like ... and I really couldn’t come up with anything substantial???????
Also .. my French dad said the French were lazy .. and everyone agreed ... they don’t want to work more ... by law, employees cant work more than 36 hours s week!!!!!! This is CRAZY!!! Even if they want to work more ... tis ILEGAL ... bosses can ... employees cant!! HOW UNFAIR!!!! ... stupid unions ...
And the French complain that 36 hours is too much!!!! Geeeeeee ... what a hard life ..
Anyway s... we woke up way too early this morning – 730 ... and opened presents etc and had breakkie and then I had a shower ... I think im sick ... nic I think im getting that cold finally ...i feel so shit weak ... good thing im reading lots and sitting on my bum ...
MISSSSSS everyone back home ... I cant believe that its almost halfway through my trip !!!!!

Love u all ... miss pimby n maddy ... the French need some strong brave dogs over here ... all they have are weak thin puppies ... mad dog russel needs to teach them how to be body builders because she is the queen of the dog world ... a reall ghetto girl from east keilor ... none of this fancy French crap ...
