This was taken when I was having a break from quad biking in the Namibian Desert just outside of Swakopmund. The African sun is bright as can be and reflecting terrificly off the water as well as providing great shadows in the dunes.

This is Dune 45 in the Namibian Desert. I hiked up it with my tour group early one morning and had the sun on one side and the fog rising on the other. Amazing scenery and light. An experience I will never forget.

This shot was taken at Mariner's Wharf in Hout Bay just outside of Cape Town. A Cape Peninsula Fishing Village famous for its fish and chips. I love the light and shade in this picture. It shows the fisherman are off duty and back from their morning catch.
