Young girl dressed in bright Western clothing while her mother prefers to covers up in the traditional way. Most have done away with wearing facial veils as Morocco is a modern Muslim country.

The Taureg, also known as the blue people from the desert, are recognised by their indigo dyed blue robes. A scarf of 3 Metres and more, known as a taguelmoust, are wrapped around their heads and gives good protection against sand, dust and heat.
