The subway path between the two platforms had a real character to it. The dim lighting with colourful graffiti, and beautiful local stone made a great setting for us playing a little plastic bottle football to pass the time, as we waited for our train.

Outside the main building of the station, this beautiful quirk of symmetry really caught my imagination. The passage leading down led to a subway connection linking the two platforms of the station.

I remember laughing a lot taking this shot. We were so determined to maintain high spirits during our three our wait. The contrast in lighting from the platform above looked great as Ffion went through great lengths to keep us both entertained. I really loved the lighting, and angles in this shot, as well as it providing a great memory.
