Derby to Broome

AUSTRALIA | Friday, 30 September 2011 | Views [364]

Today after breakfast we paked up to leave Derby. We drove to the old prison and then to a prison boab tree. It was full of bees. A prison boab tree is a big tree with a huge whole in the middle of it and a skinny crack to get through. It stored the prisoners 100 years ago.

When we were crossing a bridge to Broome dad and me saw a fresh water crocodile. Dad turned around so my brother and mum could see. At Broome we are camping at Cable Beach Caravan Park. Me and my brother went to the pool for two hours and we made some friends. Back at our camp site we made friends with the family behind us. They come from Victoria as well.
