Ingredients
Mussels
Carrot
Paprika red
Green peppers
Challot onion
Spring onion
Garlic
Lemon
Olive oli
Cream 35%
White wine dry semi dry
Water
Salt pepper
How to prepare this recipeClean the clams. Take away that is not closed.
Clean and cut the vegetable ingredients in small pieces.
Heat a little bit olive oil put in the challot onion.
Let it just have a little colour.
Add carrot let it have a minute to get a little colour.
Add water.
Add a little bit salt.
Add peppers and spring onion.
Give a minute or two cook.
Add the clams.
Add white wine.
Let it cook for ten minutes
Add garlic.
Add cream.
Give it two minutes and serve it. Serve it with bread and white wine.
The story behind this recipeAs a norwegian I have enjoyed travelling along the norwegian coast with a boat. What is more natural than eating what is picked directly from the sea. All the other ingredients is also easy at hand. With a lityle bit try and fail I came up with this, and we have enjoyed it many times. As we now are in Spain the ingredient where bought here but the taste was just as good.
