Sundays are the quiet day in Cabarete. Slept in until about 8 (so slept for something like 10 hours).
Decided to walk down the beach towards town to get breakfast and explore a bit. So it starts raining a little, more like a sprinkle. No big deal. Keep walking. Then it gets heavier and quickly turns into a downpour. Got soaked before making it back to the hotel.
Since it was a little late when it stopped raining, we decided to just go eat next door at Kite Club's restaurant. Cheeseburger and fries - was okay, but nothing memorable.
Nothing too exciting happened. Mostly just getting settled. Dinner/late afternoon ate at Chichigua, the restaurant at Extreme.
All in all a quiet day.
