    One of the secrets to observe wildlife in a rainforest is to keep your eyes, ears and all your senses open. I was lucky to have spotted this pit viper resting after what seems to be like a healthy meal. by: adarshraju Views[749] When you are in a rainforest, you dont have to wait for a big mammal to see some action. There is drama unfolding all around you all the time. Here's one of those natural history moment. A spider wasp paralysing a spider(tarantula?). The wasp would then carry this spider to a nest, and lay eggs on the spider. Enduring all the pain hiking a steep slope in pitch darkness to be welcomed by the warmth of the morning sun, you'r on top of the world in the true sense. As this trekker descends, you can sense the feeling of achievement in him and his desire to be all by himself in the arms of nature.. by: adarshraju Views[525] When you are in a rainforest, spotting wildlife is as exciting during the night as it is during the day. We spotted this Monitor Lizard during our night safari on the Kinabantan River. Photgraphing from the rocking boat in the night with a hand held camera was a tremandous challenge.. by: adarshraju Views[469] A symbol of the Mulu caves in Sarawak, Malaysia: The outline of Abraham Lincoln's face and the exodus of millions of bats.
