So today I woke up slowly because the bed was comfortable. I don't think I'm an efficient traveler because if I woke up early I could probably see more than what I saw today.
Anyways, after my shower I heard fireworks go off around 9:00am. You only get to see the flash no color or anything. I was told that it could be for a wedding or new business opening. It's still odd to have them in the day though. Then about half an hour later I heard more but it actually sounded like gunfire! But everyone else was walking and going about their day so it wasn't guns. They were loud!
Today I took a bus to the Imperial Mountain Resort. It's huge, expensive to get in, but very beautiful. It was created for the emporer to enjoy a hunting and fishing lifestyle. I didn't get to see everything but that's OK. I was maybe only alone today for 10 minutes! I met a man in the museum section who noticed my camera, and then we just toured around together and talked about everything. Then he had to leave and I walked for a tiny bit and met Peter, an older man who was an English teacher. We talked about everything too and he was able to tell me about the park. It was a good day overall but I wish I could see more!
I don't know what I will do tomorrow yet, but it will probably involve booking my next train.
