On Saturdays I would go with my mother on her pick-ups; she owned and operated a dog grooming business. Every Saturday we would stop here and she would wash her car inside and out. I was really happy on those days. I wore my roller-blades in the car and everywhere she stopped I would get out and skate. I stopped all of that when I was twelve. This was two years after I promised her “I would always be her little boy”.
