The San Francisco Port is a popular place, from amateur sea adventurers to overly health conscious folks looking to drink vegetable smoothies at the weekly farmers market. Behind looms the cold financial district, waiting for its morning rush victims.

Pier 7 is almost constantly empty in the mornings, especially during cold and foggy mornings. This makes it a wonderful place to forget reality and become engulfed in the sound of waves and the occasional seagull flying overhead.
