The Long & Winding Road

Today was pretty much a travel day.  We took the bus to Surat Thani from Krabi.  We then had to wait like an hour at the bus station for another bus that was taking us to the pier an hour away.  Grabbed some excellent BBQ pork and rice while we were waiting.  Caught the boat heading to Koh Pha-Ngan which was pretty brutal!  The sea was so choppy and the boat was rocking hard the whole way there.  Arrived in Thong Sala and grabbed a cab to Hat Rin, the sight of the infamous Full Moon Parties.  There was no full/half/quarter or black moon parties in the next few days though.  It didn't bother me at all though because I kinda just wanted to relax for a couple days.  Checked in at Suncliff Bungalows which would be home for the next 4 nights.
