I knew that I wanted to get a portrait-type picture of the man I photographed that day. Here he is with his dog, Luna, against one of the barns on the farm.

The farm I visited breeds donkeys for show and these are just a few of them in the field. These curious guys came right up to me. I tried to position the camera so that the two in the foreground would frame the one in the background.

This photograph was just taken on a whim. We were on our way to go check the feed for the cows in the field and I snapped it. I ended up really liking it because it shows the Virginia landscape.
