I'm a Houstonian in my early twenties. I am called Taryn. While currently attending a college where I am studying sociology- I find most of my education comes from outside the collegian experience. I enjoy people, traveling, people that travel, and TED.com. I am a fan of hospitality exchange, interconnectivity of peoples, and pondering the interdependence and balance between all units of a system (be that personal, societal, ecological).

My list of places to see, people to meet, things to read and learn, and questions to probe is extensive and growing.

Sometimes I feel like laundry that has been washed and left too long in the machine- so that everything gets stale and sort of funky smelling. Traveling and new people air me out.

I hope to find a way to make discovery a lifestyle.
