Arriving in Sydney and the first three days of Uncertainty

AUSTRALIA | Monday, 2 November 2009 | Views [27]

The flight was easy enough, no one died from blood clotting. We had to wait in toronto for three hours, vancouver for one hour, and arrived from start to finish in about 25 hours. We arrived on a saturday at 9 am, and have to wait until monday morning so that the banks open up. We have been surviving on credit cards for the past two days, and our first meal we ate at Subway. We had our classic chicken bacon ranch of course! We received help from three people just trying to find our way to the hostel, one was canadian working Australia, and one was a cyclist and one had relatives in moncton N.B. funny enough considering we flew out from moncton.

Halloween was a crazy party time for syndey, and we just chilled during the partying because well the stupid banks were not open! Our first day of walking the city comprised of three separate walks, which made us lost and confused. But we found our way back like always. We saw the opera house and that was freaking awesome. It made the trip feel more real! We ate at korean BBQ and Wolfboy had pork, and I had Eel! Which is very fishy tasting salmon! We did the touristy picture taking and laughed. It has been amazing weather and hopefully will stay this way. We found out that we will be taking the train all over australia for at least two months! So that is about the extent of our planning. We need to go run to the bank so that we can pay for tonight at the hostel now! Wolfboys OUT!
