I am a very
curious person and never get tired of seeing or experiencing new things.
Photography has always been my lifelong passion. I like to think that I go the
extra mile to get the shot. I’ve lugged heavy equipment around with me on long
hikes in sweltering heat, gotten up between 4 and 5 am everyday on vacations to
catch the sunrise, stood waist deep in frigid coastal waters to get up close
and personal with dolphins, started scuba diving because I wanted to be able to
photograph vivid coral and wildlife in its natural habitat, let my hands go
beyond numb shooting for hours on end at a ski resort, and nearly took a
snowboard edge to the face when I was lying under a netted fence shooting a
competition. I don’t regret a single minute of it. In fact, I look forward to
an endless amount of similar scenarios and the moments that they will enable me
to capture.
I would also like to thank my wonderful family and friends for
encouraging me to pursue my dream. I would not be where I am today without
their support.
