Dressed in his traditional Moroccan dress, a djellaba, this man walks through the maze of predominately blue and white alleyways that make up the Mountain town of Chefchaouen, a popular tourist destination in Morocco. The locals go about their business as though the thousands of tourists do not exist.

There was a stillness surrounding this Moroccan man as he sat quietly reading from his Qur’an. Beside him rose the unfinished sandstone columns and Hassan Tower minaret, which was intended to be part of the World’s largest mosque in the Moroccan Capital, Rabat. Throughout Morocco there was a strong presence of religious faith.
