    One man guarded the truck and waited for more fish before covering them with ice; I saw him bonk a couple of birds off with his snow shovel. He told me this was the largest haul he had seen in years. A stream of fishy water, scales, and blood ran from the bottom of the truck back to the sea as we talked. by: zdenek Views[282] The frigatebirds knew they were in for a treat when they saw hundreds of crates of fish walking along the beach. The men got scratched and defecated upon as they walked, jogged, and sometimes ran the fifty feet to the truck. As the birds descended, this guy decided to take his sweet time. by: zdenek Views[311] This group of Ecuadorian fishermen chanced upon a once-a-year haul of fish off of Bahía de Caráquez, Ecuador. They filled their boat so full they could barely make it onto the beach, and over fifteen men helped them offload. Some carried sticks over their heads as they lugged the tubs of fish to beat the birds off with. by: zdenek Views[782]
