i was inspired by medieval architecture of my country.
i was studying in moscow then, in VGIK(the oldest film school in the world) and i had to shoot my diploma film, so i decided to write a short story based on local legend i 've heard as a kid.
i was amazing experience for, plus i won a scipt contest in Azerbaijan and ministry of culture gave me some money to shoot this story, my crew was from all over the world, my assistant - from Germany, my DoP - from Siberia, his assistants from Korea...
It was the most amazing time in our lives...
i hope if i win the scholarship i'll have an opportunity to experience those feelings again.
