Most people take a walk through the old Mutrah Souk not for shopping, but to take in the aroma of burning frankincense mixed with the unknown flavors of tradition and heritage that the Souk treasures between its arches and stone pavements.

This salesman closely watches the tourists to avoid any theft of the innumerable pieces of traditional Omani ornaments and souvenirs.
