This is my favorite picture from the entire trip! Also taken in the Railes, we walked through the entire village to give a propane gas tank to one of the residents so she could cook for her family. One the way back from visiting the lady, I was amazed to see how connected everyone was. This was the type of village where whole families-- parents, uncles, cousins, and grandparents-- all lived together. They understood what it meant to literally put family first, since they were in such close proximity to each other. This shot is taken "in motion", giving me the ability to see a small glimpse of what a typical day in this village feels like.
