Trip to Bromo that I handled on November 18-19, 2012 is the most unforgettable trip I ever have. There are some reasons for making it as my most unforgettable trip in 2012. I loved the fact that I was on duty tour leader after knowing that I would get mother and son as the trip participants. Both of them are Thai. It was such an unusual trip for me because I never get a requested trip for mother and son only.
Another reason to make it so unforgettable is because I have to keep finishing this trip though I was robbed on the journey before picking them up. I lost some gadgets including my camera. That is why I take all of these pictures by using iPhone. I kept on doing the trip and served them as good as I could because I did not want to let them down. I smiled though I was quite frustrated thinking about several stuffs that I have lost.
On the second day of the trip, I could see the beauty of mother and son relationship from Win-Bud. Win was worried so much about his mother. He was afraid that his mother was not strong enough to reach the crater. Knowing about this, I suggested Bud to ride a horse to shorten the distance to the crater. Bud also showed her love by keep asking her son to walk first as she did not want to slow down his son. At the same time, she tried so hard to conquer 250 stairs to get to the crater. I could see them feel so happy after reaching the top of the crater. I helped them took some photographs. Then we continued the journey to "Pasir Berbisik". The name is taken from a title of movie which took some one its scenes in the same location. We went there by riding our four-wheel jeep. After getting into the location, they stood in one of the rocks and I took their photograph as if they were flying while seeing the sky up in the air.
Thanks God, I can complete all of my duties to bring them seeing the beauty of Bromo Crater. Right after dropping them in the airport, Win (the name of the participant) says a big thanks to me for showing him and his mother the beauty of Bromo. He said that it was one of his best trips. He also promised to look for other tourist resorts in Indonesia.
