My Name is Ysabel. and I come from Peru. A place where people grows up in extreme conditions, and life happens right in your face.
But, if the time is taken, and we look closely, we can also see that this is a place surrounded by colors and lifes very escence.
It was always a dream of mine to learn photography, but coming from a place where you need to study an estable career, and secure a job in order to make a living, I could never do it. However, I did manage to break the rules, and have travelled lots of countries by now, never without a camera.
In these images of "La Candelaria Carnival" in Puno Peru, I have tried to portrait my very point. These picutures come from a place where despite all hard conditions, altitude and hard work, people celebrate Life. Through colors, customes, and festivals.

It would be a great oportunity to travel to Africa, and learn about this unique place in the world, and its ways. Better yet, see it all through a professional lense, and cheat on time, by capturing the moment.
