journey through the unknown

My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Russian Federation | Friday, October 15, 2010 | 5 photos

Recently, I had travelled through Mongolia and Russia and something that stayed with me were the small villages through Siberia. I wanted to capture the village’s natural beauty and life. There was character in the villages, something you could only feel by walking through the villages. You experience something about their daily lifestyle and how different it is to what you would experience in a big city. This is the type of places many tourists would not care to visit, unacknowledged and not cared for by many.

To be chosen for this amazing opportunity would be a dream come true. My life goal is to become a national geographic photographer. My passions in life are travelling and photography. I love experiencing different cultures and seeing the world with my own two eyes. I never travel without my camera, or my sense of adventure. There is something satisfying about travelling to the unknown and experiencing new things in life.
