Well after almost 5 years in Rotorua I am finally off on my big adventure starting in a week with the final day of work. Doesn't quite seem real yet even though I'm in the middle of packing and have next to no furniture. I just have to get thru the friend and family farewells yet which is going to be tough but since the itchy feet aren't going away I must be off. now if only the packing would finish itself.
Waiuku is the first stop in the trip and that is to see family before exiting Auckland on a 12 1/2hr flight to Bangkok Thailand for 4 weeks with the Intrepid crew before flying onto London and whoknows where else since Thailand is the only part of the plan which is finalised. But these things have a way of sorting themselves out.
