This mother has to carry the heavy load of raising her children through the stairs of life. She is a lone hero in her motherly role but her children fill her life with comfort and beauty while her husband sweats in the heat to feed the family.

The robe seller was seemingly bored by people wearing only black and white. He didn’t have a real shop - sitting on a rusty old wheelbarrow, he used the wall to showcase his colourful and inexpensive collection of second hand robes. Intoxicated by the early afternoon heat, he still stood there so that he could earn enough to get by and show Moroccans that they don’t have to be rich to wear beautiful and colourful robes.

Life is hard for Berber people living in the highest village on the way to the topmost peak in Morocco. They have to rely solely on four-legged transportation to carry bare necessities to their homes. It is an everyday struggle but with a mule's stubbornness and a ram's determination one can get anywhere.
