Heya! My name's Yannis and i'm a 28yrs old photographer from Greece. Although i’ve studied computer science, art was always the direction i was attracted to since i was a kid. So, after almost 6 years of hard studies at the uni,i end up a rock musician with a burning desire to shoot the whole world. Photoshoot that is :P
To be honest sometimes i really feel like i got involved with photography too late in my life and I’m really looking forward to compensate for that time loss.
Why i should be chosen? Well, because i finally feel that this is my karmic destination. Not Oman per se, but photography. I mean traveling around the world and just being able to capture the essence of humanity and nature with nothing but a click of your shutter, its just…magic, that’s what it is! Freezing the time, preserving that unique moment so others can enjoy, learn from it, be educated. It might sounds corny, but every single time i hold my camera, it just feels right. I know it now. This is what I am meant to do, and I am planning to stick with it. So Jason’s mentorship would be a huge leap forward to that direction, and of course the whole trip’s would be a life changing experience for me.
