My Scholarship entry - Into The Woods

I'm an international student from Colombia in the U.S. Studying a BS in Film Production. Photography as you can tell is very related with film, what I found amazing in photography and different from Film is that you have to tell a story in one frame, not like Film that you have 24 frames per second.
I believe that other than have a great image coming from your pictures, storytelling is the base of photography, capturing those moments and make them into memories is one of my main goals as a photographer. I still believe in the feel that Film (35mm) in photography can provide, it's just like magic, you have to think fast, be in your senses, evaluate before pulling the trigger (taking picture), but at the same time doing it faster, because there's moments that just happen one time in a lifetime and is our duty as photographer to capture those moments and share them. So that's pretty much me and what it think and believe about photography.
