My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Photography and me...

...did not start with telling stories. It started with searching, looking through the lens, listening, and learning. Sometimes it seemed (seems) impossible, sometimes it was (is!) pure euphoria. And now it is about to become conscious exploration. What drives is not what I want to, it is what I need to see, to do, to be...
I need to be brave enough to break limits, most of all my own ones. So I started digging into a few scenarios from deep slums to our Parlament itself and the biggest step forward was to realise that whom ever I face – be it a beggar or a top leader – we have more in common than what differs.
I moved to a district of the capital city of my country where social contradictions are the most obvious and found people who try to make a difference (churches, NGO-s). I decided I want to explore (photodocument) their field of work for my- end themselves first, and then hopefully: for others aswell.
I have no clue where the story will go but my question here and now is not at all whether I am willing to do this.
