My Scholarship entry - Heritage and beauty of the Peruvian Andes

Since my childhood I have had a passion for photography. After I worked many years in Asia, I decided to undergo a training as Photographer, to full fill my childhood dream. In Asia I learned the important insight to life in the present.
Photography enables me to capture the presence and to preserve it for the future, and it stands for me as a symbol for enlightenment.
19 years ago I moved to Asia. Here not only my believes changed, so did my photography view.
I am influenced by my travels, anthropology, ethnology, ethnobotany and the passion for yoga/ meditation.
Travel photography and working on fine art photography, widens my horizon. It also helps me to generate new and fresh ideas for capturing the world.
I think I should be chosen for the Scholarship because it gives me the unique opportunity, to learn from a high calibre professional photographer. One of my characteristics is to share knowledge. In the past, during my university times, I shared my knowledge as tutor. In my professional life I also shared knowledge as mentor and intercultural trainer. I foresee my self to share my photography skills as well.
