Wu Hao (Chinese, b.1987) is an emerging photographer born Nanning city, the capital of southern province of Guangxi. After he got his bachelor in journalism major in Shanghai, he worked for few local newspapers and corporative photography company as stuff photographer and start his own career as a freelancer in 2012.
Wu Hao specialises in documentary, reportage and street photography, currently based in Beijing, China. He got his first camera in 2007 and soon became passionate, seeking for interesting and valuable moments on the street and mysterious corner of China with his perspective. Recording life stories as seen by his eyes. In recent years he has been working as freelance photographer in China and nearby countries while pursuing of personal projects. His works focus on people’s way of living by the fast changing society and have been published internationally on Magazines and newspaper from China, Czech, Italy and Switzerland.
He speaks fluently in English, Madrin Chinese and Cantonese and available for assignments in Editorial, Portraiture, Corporate and PR photography
Wu Hao is member of XXV Photos, a photographic collective from Portugal which dedicate to Sport documentary stories.
The reason that i should be chosen
Im a out-going young lads who always have desire to explore new areas with my enthusiasm and bravery, i used to explore Russia alone on the year his graduate, and make a lots of adventure there, i love new challenge and enjoy the process of overcoming the hardship on the road.
I believe my hard work will finally make myself the most special one in the photography world.If i get this chance to work with Jason Edwards, it would be a greatest and most important chance for my career, through out the assisting and learning with one of the best visual stroy teller would make him grow faster, my favourite quote from Churchill"you make a living from what you get, but you make a life from what you give", that's what i have been always pursuit.To be out there, to discover, to learn and to love, what i truly believe is that photography is like a common language to connect people from different continent, is a way of spreading the concept of love.
Finally, i believe my easterner background would give the project some different views,my way of working and my stlye would make the work more personal and unique,it would be more interesting if there are some “chemical reaction” happen between eastern and western point of view.
