Kalahari Bushmen, Namibia
The Bushmen of the Kalahari have great knowledge about their environment, their wildlife and the plants that surround them.
About worldtraveler
A sign of beauty is to have a very red tongue, dyed with a plant from the bush.
I'm an Art teacher at the coolest school in San Francisco, California. I use recycled materials for the projects I set out for the children. I love my job, it gives me the flexibility to travel which is something that I've been able to do consistently. I love photography and use it at work as much as possible. During the summer when I travel abroad I take advantage of this hobby and document what I see in the most artistic way I can. I think my strength is in composition, I have an artistic eye and try to really think about the frame before I shoot. I love Asia and have been to a lot of countries so far: China, Japan, Tibet, Mongolia, Bhutan, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Borneo, Java, Bali, Lombok, India, Pakistan, Vietnam are some of them. What I love about traveling is learning about the different practices people follow worldwide; the different foods, the spiritual beliefs, the way people carry on with their day. Going to countries where practices differ from my own experiences gives me an open perspective about life which in turn gives me a broader sense of compassion and acceptance for humankind.
