My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Travel to Aiuruoca was something I've been waiting for about 10 years. It had been this long I didn't see this city and it's beauty. In 2001 I went to visit my aunt and my cousins there and completely felt for it's simplicity and great wonders, but the city's rush time keep putting me away from coming back.
Finally this september I could arrange time to go there. My gramma is living with them and visiting her was a great excuse to do this adventure travel again, now with more experience and maturity.
Doing a adventure trip requires much maturity and focus, expecially when you are doing with the goal of taking the best photos to register it's atmosphere.
During these 10 years that kept me away I discovered this talent and this need that I have of registering things. Maybe it's because I have a really bad memory, or I simply have the ability to see beauty everywhere, but I could not only develop and increase this talent but also my techniques. Photography is part of my daily life, and I can't see myself living anything without a camera in my hand.
Than I came back to Aiuruoca, saw that my little cousing is not that little anymore, and saw that the city had change a bit, but still remained with it's contry style, so I decided to capture it's details.
When you search Aiuruoca on google you can see a lot of waterfall's pictures, and countrysides. I wanted to capture it diferently, I wanted to capture it's soul. Not only the city and the native's soul, but capture how this adventure had changed mine.
This is why I think I should be chosen to this scholarship. First it will be a huge learning and life changing experience. And secondly, I have the maturity to make this the best travel I could ever have.
