Seruit is a typical food of Lampung province.  Eating  is incomplete without Seruit to the indigenous Lampung. How to make seruit is very practical. Every time you want to eat, just prepare an empty bowl to make Seruit. Seruit is made of a mixture of chili sauce,  fried or grilled eggplant, tempoyak, the content of cucumber, pumpkin stew, tofu, tempe, fish, boiled  or fried egg, or other side dishes. Then they  are stirred together and add a little water. Although the color of seruit looks less attractive, but the mixture does not change the nutrition. It is a one big pot of  delicious and nutritional food. Everyone can make his own seruit  to taste. Not necessarily all the side dishes mentioned above are mixed. Sauces also depend on your taste bud, you can use  fried,  paste, or even  green chilies. Various kinds of  vegetables leaves will be a complement to the seruit when eaten together with rice. Seruit depict unity and kinship. Reflected from one of the customs of the people of Lampung that  dinner will be more delicious when they eat together with relatives. Lampung community holds the attitudes of family, united in facing problems, help each other and work together in doing something.
