my story

How did I end up here?
I was like surfing on my twitter timeline when I suddenly saw a link that tweeted by one of my following (@amrazing, one of Indonesian writer, for his friends, which is a famous Indonesian writer too). Feel interested, I click the link, read the program, register, and here I am..entering my travel story.

My travel story is about Bali, a beautiful Island in Indonesia. For some people Bali is really a paradise. That's why Balinese and Indonesian people called it 'Pulau Dewata'. The island for gods and goddesses. Bali is the main travel destination for Indonesian people to spend their vacation. If you ask our people where they gonna spend their holiday or honeymoon, the first place that come to their mind would be Bali.

Indonesia is a very beautiful country. Our country are blessed with so many beautiful nature. Indonesia consist of more than 17.000 island (only 13.000 that have been named). We are huge. We have many travel destination. We have Komodo Island (which is habitat of the Komodo Dragon-the world's largest living lizard), Raja Ampat-Papua (heaven for divers), and many beautiful mountain such as mount Rinjani and mount Semeru. But why Bali..

Bali is a place for those who looking for excitement, serenity, culture, fun, you named it. You can go to Bali with friends, family, partner, or even solo. If you go there with friends, you can do the water sport like paralayang, banana boat, diving in Tulamben, or watch kecak dance in Uluwatu temple while see the sunset, imagine see the dance with twilight colors behind..epic. If you looking for peace and ease, you can go to Ubud. Ubud is located amongst rice paddies which make it so calm here. Green is everywhere..as far as you can see. You can enjoy the nice healthy air by bicycling around the rice field, or you can visit a lot art galleries and workshops. For romance seeker, you can have a dinner in a place near the beach, what is more romantic than having your love one beside you, good food, good place, the stars, the sands, and the beach? yeah..I know its kinda cheesy, but wait until you experience it.

For me, Bali is always about the beach, white sands, and blue water. You can play in the edge of the beach, swim, enjoy the water and wave with friends, or you can just sit back and relax, watch the people, refresh your mind, forget the problems, and grateful for beautiful life you have.
