I had the honour of being chief for the night
In January of this year I closed my counselling business, gave up my part time charity job, gave up my house and sold my car. After going to Nepal in September last year a eagerness to experience more of the world grew in me, so I put all my taught insecurity aside and brought a one way ticket to Bangkok.
I spent six weeks in Thailand, 2 1/2 months in Australia and have been in New Zealand for nearly three month's. I was intending to go back home after here, but it didn't feel right. So I cancelled the second half of my flight, and I am now getting off in Los Angeles. Not sure what will happen from there, but as always I will trust 100% in my instinct.
It has been an amazing journey so far, full of ups and downs. Mainly ups. Some amazing people, and spectacular places.
