Travel and photography are my two great passions. I spent five months travelling the world last year, taking photos and learning new skills. I publish my photos online, but my motivation for taking photos is as a creative outlet. I find inspiration in capturing the remarkable differences in the daily lives of people around the world.

Part of my trip last year was a solo road trip from Los Angeles to New York and back, crossing 37 states in 77 days. I was able to see the USA that exists between the big cities, and met some amazing people along the way. I took hundreds of photos, and loved the freedom of being able to process and structure my experience into a narrative, which I posted on my Tumblr.

I want to become a better traveller and a better photographer. I want to experience new cultures and places, and develop my photography skills with the help of a mentor, so I can translate those experiences into stories I can share. I'm comfortable using a DSLR and Photoshop, and have experience using a range of lenses to find the image which best captures the moment.
