I stepped out from one boat to another, while my hands hold on tight to my best friend’s hands. I was carefully taken care of my things and myself, didn’t prepare and expect to fall at Bunaken diving spot. After a dramatic transferred, I welcomed by the sea wave, I was losing my perfect balance, made me hit anything and thrown from right to left and continually so on. I was looking for perfect sitting spot, to be amazed by the Bunaken underwater treasure, even though I was looking by see through glass boat, not diving.
“Are you happy?” Valent, my best friend asked. I wore my fake smile, “Been better. Don’t get the sea wave excitement yet”. She laughed out loud. “Just enjoy it. This is your first time ever step out from Manado. Don’t make it bad!” She said. I was looking at her, with my yeah-that-is-true gaze. I breathed in and out while my hands hold tight the bar. Suddenly the boat slowly moved, made it and my mind stable.
“Whale! Mini Whale!” “Look, nemo’s family!” I yelled. People in that boat smiled and smirked. They tried to understand the 21 year old girl never seen something amazing like that. “Your 20 minutes is up. You should move to the ferry boat” said the man from the see-through-glass boat. I almost successfully transferred to another boat, when I felt someone poked my back. I looked back while holding tight to a new rope, convinced myself I wouldn’t fall freely to a not-a-best-place-to-fall-to Bunaken diving spot. “Congratulation for your first adventure ever” said the man from the see-through-glass boat. I smiled “Thank you. This is just the beginning”. I turned my back and safely jump to speed boat. I waved at the man from see-through-glass boat. Not a goodbye waved, but stated my return to his boat someday, with a bunch of my second to numerous numbers of adventures. I will return.
