My name is Will Eades. I am 26 and I am passionate about photography and our environment. I like to shoot wildlife, landscapes, and the natural world. I am a keen learner, enjoy good humour, and I love experiencing new places. My interest in photography came about when I began work driving a cable ferry at the age of 18 - a job that many perceive as brain numbing. In actual fact I was bored stiff in the beginning, but then I took a look around. Storm fronts, birds of prey, turtles, dolphins and a thousand sunsets. This vantage point stirred a creative side I hadn’t felt in years. I got my first DSLR and work became fantastic. Thousands of shots later and I’ve gained a new respect for perspective. As such, my aim is to capture moments which evoke this perspective in others. I want to reveal that each subject has a hidden story, even cable ferries if you have the time to look. This search for perspective is why I love traveling. A career in photojournalism has become a dream of mine, and I would be so grateful for a chance to be mentored by Jason. I share his attitudes for conservation and I am sure he could help guide an aspiring photographer like myself.
