We have had 5 full on days in Barcelona now and start our cruise this afternoon. Yesterday we went to Montserrat which is about an hour's train journey away. It was really interesting. A great day trip where we caught the metro, train, cable ar, Funniculas and then hiking a bit around the mountains. My shins and ankles are reminding me of it today!!
I lit a candle at the Basicilica there for the people back home who have been affected by the terrible disaster of the Christchurch earthquake.
Weather is cold in mornings but usually around 17 degrees in afternoon so that's pretty good for February!
