A home free life on the road in retirement, no RV, no home base. Since 2011 we are homeless and loving it. A carefree existence planning one international retirement adventure after another. I hope to share with you our experiences through my photography as well as the finances necessary for such a home free life. We have traveled to Mexico, China and spent six months in Europe. Here, I'll document our year+ on the road, starting with Barcelona in May, 2016.
Our next adventure was prompted by huge increases in our Obamacare Insurance, $18,000 a year for a $12,000 deductable policy. We learned there is an Obamacare exemption that frees us from buying the insurance as well as not having to pay the penalty. This exemption requires that we leave the country for a minimum of 330 days. So here we go. We leave April 15 and will cruise to Spain to begin our next big adventure.
