CURRIE ON TRAVELLING JANUARY 2008 IN FRANCE HOLLAND & GERMANY WITH FAMILY & FRIENDS

SINGAPORE

SINGAPORE | Friday, 28 December 2007 | Views [254]

Festive season not yet over - mince pies and champagne in Q Club, multistorey white Xmas tree in hotel atrium.   Were lucky to be seated right up front:  any further we would have been helping to change the (fortunately very placid) baby.
The real reason for choosing to return to the Pan Pacific became evident shortly after arrival - the crispy dried anchovies they serve with the drinks in the atrium while you watch the gglass tube lifts go up and down.
A good multicultural breakfast inclusing dragon fruit, poached egg in a tomato basket, teriyaki eel, chinese spiced sausage and a pain-au-chocolat should provide a good foundation for the day.

Off to Little India  to be cont'd...
