My Scholarship entry - Lost in translation

When I was young, I used to look with passion at all the great places showed in the pictures of National Geographic. I wondered when I was going to be able to travel and discover the unknown by myself. I never thought so much about being photographer, take photos needs time and I was always in a hurry.
Then I meet some photographers and I liked the passion they showed for this art. Just for trying I bought a second hand camera and, taking pictures I discover the beauty of details. I love them, it helps you become more conscious about your surroundings. It is another way to look at the world, more carefully, calmly, searching for the right moment, for the right place.
It is also a pleasure to share, what you have seen through the camera, you tell stories.
I like nature, people, adventures. The possibility of learning about other cultures, other places at the same time I learn how to capture the moments with my camera would be a dream, even more with a professional photographer like Jason Edwards. The new continent, and more precisely the Peruvian Amazon, is a different place with a new light, new culture, full of stories I would like to learn about.
Best regards!
