You will never know if you never try

The first time I travel alone. It was just marvelous! “Where to go?“ I am not sure yet. “You sure you want to go alone?!” “Why not?” “It is too dangerous for a girl to travel alone!” “Well it is safer than you think.” There were so many friends disagreed with my idea of travelling alone. They thought I was a creep. “WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO TRAVEL ALONE?!”

Despite all these, I went on my trip. I chose to pick the cheapest ticket I can find on Easyjet. I ended up in Rome. As a non-historical fans, I never thought I would gone to a place like Rome. It is quite a surprise that I like the city very much. But I have to be honest, one of the main reason is about the food. Ohh I forgot to mention, I am wanderlust, as well as a foodie. I just love the pizza there.

I guess I need to forget about the food part now, back to our topic. Why I would say you are not alone when you travel solo? Actually I think you are with more people than you travel with some “planned partners”. It is unavoidable that people just choose to talk and focus on their “planned partners” over the journey, but ignore other people around. Those people who are from utterly different circle, should be the one you should talk with when travelling. All the conversations and “conversations” are so much fun. I think it is one of the best ways to explore the way. You can see how the world different culturally.

Why there were conversations and “conversations”? Normally conversations are carried out verbally. However notably, it was quite common that I found I did not have a common language with the people. We ended up draw or just used body language. You will be amazed how many people you can talk with in such ways.

I shared my experience with my friends after I come back. Well I have to say, action speaks louder than work. I come back “in a whole” (according to them), and had lots of fun there. Travel alone could be a better option! So why would I want to travel alone? BECAUSE IT IS A JOURNEY FULL OF SURPRISE AND FUN!
