Being Enchanted

I searched for inspiration to fulfill my dull life. Looking to be enchanted, swept off my feet in a fairytale. I began with absorbing my surroundings; all the buildings, monuments, cars, language and people were so foreign to me. Wandering down the cobblestone streets lining a path along a scenic river flowing graciously through the city. The sunset illuminating the skyline filled with nostalgia as if I had been there before. The city was rich with art, history, and culture fascinating me and craving for more.
Since this was not enough, the search continued for my life fulfillment.
I knew what I was looking for was near, I could feel it with every step, drawing me closer, through an internal pull. Not only could I feel it drawing me in closer, but with every step I could catch a brief glimpse over the buildings around me. With just the partial views I could tell it was beautiful. A rush of excitement filled within me. I could not wait any longer, I had to be closer. Step after step it became bigger and bigger. My enthusiasm grew. It had put a spell upon me.
I could feel that I was almost there, the cobblestone street was lined with souvenirs for tourist to remember their experience. Upon arrival I could see others were caught in the spell. I could now feel, see and smell the enchantment put upon me; the smell the iron structure, the dew on the grass, the sweetness of pastries from vendors and the feeling of love was in the air.
Finally, after years of dreaming, days of planning, and hours of searching for enchantment and inspiration there was no amount that could describe the moment. I could not move. I was in awe, it was breathtaking. I was in a twilight as it sparkled upon me. Being more magnificent than ever imagined. It glistened in the night sky, the lights reflected like thousands of diamonds. All I could do was sit and absorb the overwhelming feeling being placed within me. I could not take my eyes away as they were glued on the dazzling structure that twinkled like the stars in the night sky. Sitting there for hours felt like seconds. I never wanted to leave this magical feeling. I was in a fairytale forever enchanted.
Being in Paris for the first time I learned to be inspired by the details surrounding me leading to the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
