My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Howdy Jason just two things before I get in depth about who I am. First thing; I don’t want you to mentor me for two weeks after the assignment in Oman, I want you to mentor me through an apprenticeship. Second, If I were to win this amazing opportunity I beg of you; I will eat anything or I’ll chew and swallow once and I’ll participate in as many customs that permit a young indigenous woman to participate in, BUT for the love of the heavens please, PLEASE do not ask me to stick my head down a small hole to take a photo of a giant snake. I HATE SNAKES!!!
Other then that I am up for anything.
As an aboriginal woman from the Northern Territory I would use the experience gained from you (Jason) as the starting point to get my foot in the door to other travel organizations to help encourage indigenous youths to gain an education and want to go out and explore the world, and to see what other indigenous people have done to preserve their own culture, and for them to then take that knowledge back to their own community to help it thrive in the 21st century, or even to take photos of their cultural just to keep some recorded of a heritage that is rapidly becoming extinct.
